We’ll talk through design inspiration, flavours, proportions, finishes and practical considerations, creating a clear understanding of what will make your cake feel completely at home within your celebration.

2. DESIGN

With your vision in mind, I begin developing the design.
Every Searle Jones wedding cake is bespoke, with details carefully considered to complement your wedding rather than simply follow a trend. Inspiration might come from the architecture of your venue, the texture of your stationery, the florals you’ve chosen or an unexpected detail that tells your story as a couple.
Your design is brought to life through bespoke sketches, allowing you to see how the individual elements come together before the cake is created.

3. TASTING
Beautifully designed, exquisite to taste.

This is where the design becomes reality.
Every Searle Jones cake is handcrafted personally by award-winning cake designer Helen, with an uncompromising attention to detail.
From individually crafted sugar flowers and delicate textures to intricate finishes and sculptural details, each element is created by hand and carefully assembled to achieve the finished design.
Time, patience and precision go into every creation. Some cakes take days of meticulous work before they are ready to leave the studio.
The result is more than a wedding cake. It is an edible work of art, created especially for you.
5. DELIVERY & SET UP
The final detail, beautifully taken care of.
Your cake has been designed, crafted and finished. Now it is time for it to take its place within your celebration.
I personally oversee the delivery and installation of your wedding cake, ensuring it arrives safely and is positioned and finished exactly as intended.
